UMNO-PAS talks - Why MCA is silent?

MCA has always criticised DAP for working with PAS. Before the 2008 elections, MCA tried to whip up fear among the Chinese that DAP's co-operation with PAS meant support for an Islamic state. After the elections, MCA's Ong Ka Chun demanded that DAP apologise to the Chinese for misleading them and forming state governments with PAS.

Now that news has broken out that Umno has talked to PAS about sharing power, why is MCA so quiet? DAP is the devil for cooperating with PAS, but not Umno?

Or is it that MCA dare not speak up against their Umno masters?

Another bomb shell from RPK

An Evening with an Accomplice is another bomb shell, from Raja Petra Kamaruddin a.k.a RPK. This is definitely an attempt to fix Najib Razak with something that will deny the DPM from becoming the PM. RPK's dream, it's not a secret, is to make Anwar Ibrahim PM.
He's already facing one sedition and three defamation charges in his effort to realize this dream, including for a Statutory Declaration he made against Najib's wife. This time, he said, it's all or nothing:
"This time I am going for broke. This time I am prepared to go to jail for a long, long time just to make sure that Najib is not going to become Prime Minister of Malaysia in June 2010. Yes, I know I am headed for a fall, but I am going to bring Najib down with me. We shall both hit the dirt and become history, side-by-side. And how will that happen?
Well, this time I video-recorded a ‘confession’ session. And the video recording is now in a safe place, ready to surface during my trial when they charge me for this newest ‘crime’, whatever that crime is going to be. The gist is as follows. When Saiful went to meet Najib, he brought a friend along. And this friend has confessed to the entire thing in a video recording, which I now have in my possession. So bring it on. Give me all you’ve got. Charge me and let us see what happens in court."
Read the "confession" or "interview" from No Holds Barred from RPK. Is it strong enough evidence to convince the Court or anyone that "Najib met Saiful to discuss how to fix Anwar on a sodomy allegation"? Is it evidence in the first place? I don't know. I'm not a lawyer.

Perak Pakatan Rakyat 100 days in office celebration

2008 Jun 29 was the Perak Pakatan Rakyat 100 day in office celebration which was held in Stadium Perak. Among the VVIPs attended are Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ir Mohd Nizar Jamaluddin, Senior Exco Member Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham, YB Dr Tan Seng Giaw who is DAP Vice President and Kelantan Menteri Besar Tok Guru Datuk Seri Nik Aziz. The highlight for this event was supposed to be the speech by Pakatan Rakyat Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim but unfortunately he is unable to attend due to his personal safety. About 20,00 people attended this event.

Anwar takes up refuge offer from Turkish embassy

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim sought refuge at the Turkish Embassy at the invitation of its Ambassador to Malaysia Barlas Ozener.
The PKR de factor leader wrote on his blog at anwaribrahimblog.com that he had gone to the embassy because he feared for his personal safety.
“I was transported to the embassy earlier this morning (Sunday). I thank all those who offered to assist me in this time of need and am grateful to the Turkish ambassador for extending an invitation to me to seek refuge within the embassy,” he said.
“I would like to assure my family, friends and supporters in Malaysia that I am safe and remain committed as ever before in continuing the struggle for a free and just Malaysia.”
According to Kelantan Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Nik Aziz that the allegation maybe political ploy to trap Anwar.

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak denies his involvement in Anwar sodomy allegation.

At the same time, Anwar has filed a suit against his former aide for allegedly lodging a malicious and false report against him and defaming him

Saiful Bukhari Azlan,23 years old is the accuser of the sodomy allegation below. Many believes Saiful is the mole who was planted by a high ranking government official to topple Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim political future. He was seen taking photo with a few cabinet minister.

Aide alleges sodomy: Report lodged

A police report has been lodged against PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim for allegedly sodomosing one of his aides - the second time that such an accusation had been made in over 10 years.
The report was lodged by the 23-year-old victim at the Jalan Travers police station at 6pm.
KL police chief DCP Muhammad Sabtu Osman has confirmed that the report had been made.
It is learnt that Anwar met with a number of party leaders at an emergency meeting late tonight.
At 11.15pm, PKR sent out an SMS message stating that the police had detained Anwar’s special aide Saiful Bahari this afternoon and forced him to lodge a police report about being sodomised by his boss.
It added that the police are expected to arrest Anwar soon.

Deputy PM's wife at Altantuya Murder Scene?

Look's like there is a new claims on Altantuya murder case that Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, the wife of the current Deputy PM was accused to be present at the murder scene of the Mongolian model, Altantuya Sharibu.

The statutory declaration was subscribed and solemnly declared by Raja Petra Kamarudin on 18 June 2008.
Meanwhile, veteran DAP politician and lawyer Karpal Singh wants attorney-general Abdul Gani Patail to immediately initiate an investigation into the fresh explosive allegations over the Altantuya Shaaribuu murder.

I hope there will be no cover up on this high profile murder case.
